Our History
The Coral Beach Club has a storied past, with one tale suggesting it was the headquarters of the ‘Philippines Flying Boat Club’ after WWII. However, the official Club began in the 1980s, founded by a German couple, Helga and Helmut Kilinger. It quickly became a favorite weekend spot for expat businessmen from Manila, who enjoyed golf by day and relaxed at the Club by night.
In 1993, a group of these guests, led by John Sinclair, purchased the Club, which then had only 6 rooms and a small clubhouse. Over 20 years, they expanded the facilities, adding new rooms, a pool, jacuzzi, and extending the Clubhouse. The rooms are named after renowned golf courses or golfers, honoring the game’s influence on the Club’s evolution.
Today
The Coral Beach Club at Lian Batangas now features 26 spacious rooms, a serene infinity pool, and a bar-restaurant that seats up to 80 guests. Our menu offers diverse international cuisine, an extensive selection of beers, over 40 wines, and a variety of spirits—all at great prices. Guests also enjoy special rates at the nearby Calatagan Golf Club, just a 15-minute drive away.
Our Philosophy
“Mi casa es su casa”—meaning “our house is your house”—reflects our welcoming approach at Coral Beach Club, a place where everyone feels at home in our ‘Relaxation Resort.’
Looking Ahead
We are constantly enhancing our facilities and guest experience. Our menu evolves with weekly specials and new cocktails, and we welcome guest suggestions. We’re also exploring new activities to keep our guests engaged and entertained.
Our Green Commitment
We strive for sustainability with 300 solar panels, eco-friendly toiletries, and water and sewage treatment plants to minimize our environmental footprint. Our commitment to sustainability was recognized in 2017 when we received an Environmental Compliance Certificate from the Department of Environment & Natural Resources. We continue to meet and exceed these standards, reflecting our dedication to environmental stewardship.
